How to delete your SupperKin account and the data that goes with it.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. If you have a SupperKin Pro subscription, including one in its free trial, cancel it first in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions) or, on an iPhone or iPad, in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Otherwise a free trial converts to a paid subscription when it ends, and the store charges you for each period until you cancel. Google and Apple keep their own purchase records under their own privacy policies.
SupperKin removes your server data in that order, checks it is gone, and deletes your sign-in last. Only then does it clear this device. It reports success only when every step is done. If something goes wrong partway, it stops and tells you what is incomplete, so you can simply try again. Your account is never deleted while its server data is left behind. If a deletion stops after your account record has gone, a daily job on our server finishes deleting your server data, and we remove any sign-in account left behind.
If you last signed in more than a few minutes ago, SupperKin asks you to sign out and sign in again, then delete. This is a security check, and our server enforces it too: it accepts a deletion only within ten minutes of signing in. Nothing is deleted until you do it.
People who answered a link you sent have a random key on their own device, and our server keeps a one-way code made from it with the invitation. That code is deleted with the invitation. The key on their device is not part of your account, carries no name or contact details, and is not deleted with your account.
Answers you gave on someone else's link belong to that person's week and carry no account ID, so they are not deleted with your account. They are deleted when that person deletes their account, or automatically about 30 days after that link expires.
Deleted account records can remain in our automatic backups for up to 35 days.
Each device keeps its own copy of your plans. Uninstall SupperKin on any other device you used to remove what it stored there. Uninstalling also removes the copy an earlier version of SupperKin kept on the device, which deleting your account leaves in place. On an iPhone or iPad, iOS may keep the items in SupperKin's secure storage, such as your sign-in and reviewer keys, after the app is removed.
Apart from a review invitation you choose to send, SupperKin does not upload your household or planner data to its servers. If you use Android's own device backup, Android may include the app's planner data in your Google backup; sign-in keys, My Meals photos and the older version's copy are excluded. On an iPhone or iPad, SupperKin's planner data and photos are left out of iCloud and computer backups.
Email support@beamaze.in from the email address you signed in with, with the subject Delete my SupperKin account. Tell us whether you signed in with Google or Apple.
We delete your sign-in account and all its SupperKin server data, as the app would, and email you when it is done. Data on your devices is removed by uninstalling SupperKin. If you used Apple's "Hide My Email", send your request from that relay address or tell us what it is.
In SupperKin, go to Household → Invitations, open the person's link and tap Revoke this link. The week's dinners and names are removed from the server straight away; the invitation record and any answers are deleted automatically about 30 days after the link expires, or sooner if you delete your account. Links also stop working on their own after seven days.
What SupperKin stores, and what never leaves your device, is set out in the privacy policy.
